As we all know Tea tree is an antibacterial, so this fights all the dirt/bacteria that tries to jump on to our skin and cause spots this product helps our skin to stay clear and clean.  Honestly hands on heart you can use it at any time of day.

What I tend to do is If I feel my face is getting really oily and dirty, I will spray this on a cotton pad and wipe up wards on my skin to remove excess oils and dirt, then just to finish off I spray it on my face and let it soak in.
